Sweet Marjoram
Very srong perfumed foliage used extensively in Meditterenean and Middle Eastern cooking, but also widely used in the cosmetic industry because of it amazing scent.
Can be used like oregano, but has a stronger perfumed flavour, but we also like to use it over winter as a Basil replacement.
Often grown as an annual, Sweet marjoram is a delicate perennial and needs a warm, dry, sheltered spot over winter, ideally in a greenhouse or very well drained sheltered site.
